What's the difference between Bright Moist and High Moist?
The Bright Moist (white bottle) is lighter in texture and absorbs faster, making it better for oily or combination skin. High Moist (pink bottle) is thicker and tackier with ceramides 3 and 6 II, better for dry skin. Bright Moist also lacks placenta extract and focuses more on arbutin for brightening.
Does it smell like alcohol?
No. The sake smell comes from the fermentation products, not alcohol content. The scent is mild and dissipates within a minute or two after application. Most people find it inoffensive or even pleasant, though a few can't get past it.
Is the texture sticky?
The Bright Moist is less tacky than the High Moist version. It absorbs faster and leaves a smoother finish. If you layer it under other products, any slight tackiness disappears. It's not the ultra-watery texture of Hada Labo Light, but it's not heavy either.
