Minon is pharmaceutical grade from Daiichi Sankyo, a major pharma company. The formula uses 9 types of amino acids that mimic skin's natural moisture factors, making it exceptionally gentle for severely sensitive or reactive skin. It's medicated, meaning it has active ingredients regulated as a quasi-drug in Japan.
Is this a moisturizer or a serum?
It's a Japanese emulsion, which sits between essence and cream in texture. Lighter than Western moisturizers but more substantial than a serum. You can use it alone for normal to oily skin or layer it under cream for dry skin.
