Not much. It's a milk cleanser, so it has a creamy texture that doesn't produce a lot of foam. You massage it in, add a bit of water to emulsify, then rinse. This is normal for milk cleansers and part of what makes them gentle.

It will remove light makeup, but for heavier or waterproof makeup, you should use an oil cleanser first. This works best as the second step in a double cleanse or as a standalone morning cleanser.

Minon uses amino acid surfactants instead of traditional cleansing agents. These clean without disrupting the skin's natural moisture balance, so there's less chance of irritation. It's formulated by Daiichi Sankyo, a pharmaceutical company, and labeled as a quasi drug for barrier protection.
