Is this a sunscreen or a moisturizer?
Both. It's a day cream with SPF50+ PA++++ protection built in. You can use it as your morning moisturizer and sunscreen in one step, or layer it over a separate moisturizer if your skin is very dry.
Does it leave a white cast?
No. Despite the high SPF, it leaves a natural glow without white cast. The texture is silky and lightweight, closer to skincare than traditional sunscreen. It works well under makeup too.
Why is it called 'The Black' if it's not black?
The name comes from the fermented black rice extract and charcoal derived ingredients in the formula, not the product color. The cream itself is a normal beige/white tone.
