FAQ

Why is it preservative free?
FANCL's entire brand philosophy is built around eliminating ingredients that can cause skin issues. Preservatives (parabens, phenoxyethanol) are common irritants for sensitive skin, so FANCL removes them completely. The tradeoff is that products have a shorter shelf life once opened, but the company prioritizes safety over convenience.
Does it emulsify and rinse clean?
Yes. It emulsifies when you add water and rinses completely without leaving an oily residue. Most Amazon Japan reviews specifically praise the clean rinse. If you have hard water, you may need to rinse more thoroughly, but it shouldn't require a second cleanse for most people.
