FAQ

What makes this good for sensitive skin?
No fragrance, no color, no alcohol, no UV absorbers, no mineral oil, no parabens. It's formulated with 6 Japanese botanical extracts (jujube, citrus peel, peach kernel, coix seed, licorice, cnidium) that soothe without triggering reactions. The formula is also mildly acidic to match skin's natural pH.
Is this hydrating enough on its own?
It depends on your skin. For oily or combination skin, yes. For dry or dehydrated skin, you'll want to layer it or follow with an emulsion or cream. It's a lightweight, non sticky lotion that preps skin beautifully but isn't a heavy hitter for moisture on its own.
Has Freeplus been discontinued?
The Moist Care Emulsion was discontinued in June 2023, but the lotion is still available as of early 2026. Kanebo has been phasing out some Freeplus products, so if you love it, stock up while it's still in production.
