Kose Softymo Speedy is thinner, faster to rinse, and half the price. DHC is the better choice if you have dry skin, wear heavy makeup, or want a cleansing oil that also improves skin texture over time. Kose is fine if you just want efficient, no-frills makeup removal.

For most people, no. Cleansing oils are designed to emulsify and rinse off completely, so the olive oil doesn't sit on your skin long enough to clog pores. However, if you're acne-prone and know you react badly to olive oil in other products, you might want to choose a mineral oil or rice bran oil-based cleanser instead (like Kose or Muji).
