Product Description

One of the gentlest face washes in Japanese skincare. Creates a dense, cushiony foam that cleanses without friction, which matters for skin that reacts to everything. The "essence in" part is literal: serum ingredients are built into the foam so the skin barrier stays intact during washing. Won @cosme 2025 Best Face Wash for the second year running. d program is Shiseido's sensitive skin line, developed with dermatologists, and every product goes through irritation testing. Medicated (quasi drug) with anti inflammatory actives to prevent breakouts and calm irritation. Skin feels clean but not tight after rinsing.

FAQ

Will this work for rosacea or eczema prone skin?
d program is specifically formulated for highly reactive skin and goes through allergen testing that exceeds standard industry requirements. Many people with rosacea and eczema use it successfully. That said, everyone's triggers are different. Patch test first, and if you're actively flaring, stick with your dermatologist's recommendation until things calm down.
Does it remove makeup?
No. This is a second cleanser (morning face wash or after oil cleansing at night). It's designed to cleanse without stripping, not to remove makeup or sunscreen. Use an oil cleanser or micellar water first if you're wearing makeup.
