Yes, it works as both. The AHA infused gel dissolves light makeup and sunscreen while exfoliating dead skin with malic acid (apple acid). It won't remove heavy waterproof makeup or full glam, but for everyday makeup and sunscreen it handles both steps.
How often should I use this if it has AHA?
Start with 2 to 3 times per week, not daily. AHAs are exfoliating acids, and overuse can irritate or compromise your skin barrier. If your skin tolerates it well after a few weeks, you can increase frequency, but most people find every other day is the sweet spot.
Does it foam?
