How much Skin Conditioner do I need per mask?
Enough to fully saturate the compressed paper without excess dripping. This usually works out to about 2 to 3 generous pumps or a small palmful. The paper should feel completely soaked before you unfold and apply it. You'll use more product than a regular cotton pad application, which is why the lotion mask method is a treat rather than a daily step.
Can I use these with other toners?
Yes. While they're designed specifically for Albion Skin Conditioner, you can use any watery Japanese lotion. Hada Labo Gokujyun, Kikumasamune Sake Lotion, and Naturie Hatomugi all work well with this method. The key is using a thin, watery toner rather than a thick, viscous one.
How long should I leave them on?
