Japan's top over the counter brightening serum, made by Daiichi Sankyo (one of Japan's largest pharmaceutical companies, not a cosmetics company). The active ingredient is tranexamic acid, which is medicated (quasi drug) for melanin suppression. Originally developed as a pharmaceutical treatment for melasma before being adapted into skincare. Also contains vitamin C ethyl as a supporting brightener. The pharmaceutical pedigree shows: this is formulated for efficacy, not for sensory appeal.
