Product Description

A black gel cleanser designed as a weekly intensive treatment for clogged pores. The dark color comes from a bamboo charcoal complex that adsorbs excess sebum, one of the primary causes of blackheads and rough texture. Unlike daily cleansers, this is meant to be used once or twice a week on problem areas like the nose, chin, and cheeks. Contains Kihada bark extract, mannitol, and trehalose to maintain skin moisture while the charcoal does its work. From Kao's SOFINA iP line, which positions itself as the science driven, ingredient forward branch of the SOFINA family. Not a foaming wash: the gel texture stays put on targeted areas, making it more precise than a typical face wash.

FAQ

How often should I use this?
Once or twice a week. It's a treatment, not a daily cleanser. Use it after your regular face wash on targeted areas like nose, chin, and cheeks. Massage each area for about 30 seconds. If you use it every day, you'll strip your skin. The bamboo charcoal is powerful, so weekly use is enough.
Can I use this on my entire face?
You can, but it's designed for spot treatment on problem areas. Most people just use it on the T-zone and chin where sebum and blackheads build up. Using it all over your face every week might be too much unless you have very oily skin everywhere. Focus on pores that need it.
Will this completely remove blackheads?
It helps by adsorbing excess sebum (one of the main causes of blackheads), but it's not a miracle cure. It'll make your skin feel smoother and look clearer over time. For stubborn blackheads, you'll still need chemical exfoliation (BHA) or extractions. This is maintenance, not a one-time fix.
