Is Vital Perfection worth the extra cost?

Only spend more if the extra benefits matter to you. If you mainly want hydration and wrinkle care, Benefiance is a sensible place to start. If firmness and uneven tone are why you’re shopping, consider Vital Perfection Advanced.

Compare the same size and version before deciding which is better value. A discounted older cream, a refill and a full jar of Advanced Cream are different offers.

What if your skin is dry or sensitive?

Benefiance also has a separate Cream Enriched for dry to very dry skin. Compare the actual creams: products in the same range can feel different.

If fragrance or certain ingredients bother your skin, check the ingredient list on the version you’re buying. The collection name won’t tell you whether it suits you.

Can I use products from both ranges?

Yes, you don’t need a matching set. Pick the products that suit your routine and follow their directions. If you’re adding retinol, check the exact formulas you already use before combining them.

Is Vital Perfection replacing Benefiance?

Shiseido lists both ranges. The newer Advanced products belong to Vital Perfection; they aren’t a replacement for the whole Benefiance range.

Does Benefiance contain retinol?

Check the exact product. The face cream, eye cream and Contour Serum have different formulas, so an ingredient in one doesn’t tell you what’s in the others.

What age are these creams for?

Choose by what your skin needs, the texture you prefer and your budget. You don’t need to upgrade when you reach a particular birthday.

Do I need the whole routine?

No. Choose a product that fills a gap in what you already use. Eye cream is optional, and neither range replaces daytime sun protection.
